On Tuesday, the Oakdale faculty and staff came together to celebrate the retirement of two cherished members of our Rocket family — Bob Scott and Marlene Dunn. Their dedication, kindness, and impact on our school community have been truly remarkable. We wish them both the best as they begin this exciting new chapter — it’s so well deserved! Mrs. Reddick needs this year's Rocket Run shirt for their trip to Washington D.C. She still needs a few blue 2024 Rocket Run T-shirts for the 8th graders who are going to DC/NYC in a few weeks. We coordinate our shirts, but the 8th-grade T-shirt was black. Our 5th graders are getting hands-on with history in art class by creating monogram 'samplers' — just like children did in colonial times to practice their alphabet and numbers. A fun and creative way to connect art with the past! #ColonialCrafts #ArtAndHistory #HandsOnLearning #ProudToBeARocket

What an incredible turnout for our first Oakdale Art Showcase! A huge thank you to Mrs. Camp, Mrs. Keyser, and Mrs. Blevins for their hard work in creating such beautiful displays. The variety of projects was amazing, and seeing students proudly share their artwork with parents and grandparents was truly special! Also, a big shoutout to OSF for their support and help in making this event a reality!
