Our Outdoors Club is getting ready for spring! 🌱🌸
With financial support from OSF, students planted a variety of pollinator plants to welcome back the monarch butterflies as they migrate through Oklahoma. 🦋🌼 While working in the garden, they also noticed milkweed and carrots beginning to emerge.
It is always exciting to see those early signs of growth, and we are looking forward to all that the season will bring! ☀️🌷

🌟📚 Big Day in 5th Grade! 🚀✨
We kicked things off with a fun “Tea Party” as students brought history to life through a reader’s theater on the Boston Tea Party 🍵🇺🇸
Then, things went out of this world when the Lunar Sooners brought their Soonerarium (mobile planetarium) to campus! 🌌🪐 Students explored planets, moon phases, and constellations, and even got to ask astrophysicists some incredible questions—everything from black holes to colliding galaxies and wormholes! 🤯✨ Our 5th graders were curious, engaged, and asked some seriously impressive questions! 👏
We wrapped up the day in STEM by presenting Makey Makey projects, and WOW—they did not disappoint! ⚡🎶 These creations were truly out of this world! 🚀💡
