FOOD DRIVE BEGINS WEDNESDAY! We will have a school-wide food drive benefitting the Oakdale Rocket Pantry beginning on Wednesday, February 7th, and concluding on February 16th. Grade levels will be grouped to compete for a donut party contest (PreK-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th). Items that will count as double points instead of just one point are the food items that are most in need: canned vegetables, single-serving cereal boxes, raisins, and non-perishable single-serve milk packs (chocolate or white milk). At Saturday's University of Oklahoma Science Olympiad Invitational, Oakdale Team 1 placed first overall, placing among the top 3 across 12 events out of 22. Oakdale Team 2 came in 8th overall, with first and second finishes in two events. It was a competitive Olympiad with 19 teams participating from Oklahoma and Texas. Our students make us proud to be a Rocket!
Pro tip: If you are having trouble getting your child into school on time, try coming a little earlier! There is zero line in middle school carpool at 8am usually.
