At Saturday's University of Oklahoma Science Olympiad Invitational, Oakdale Team 1 placed first overall, placing among the top 3 across 12 events out of 22. Oakdale Team 2 came in 8th overall, with first and second finishes in two events. It was a competitive Olympiad with 19 teams participating from Oklahoma and Texas. Our students make us proud to be a Rocket!

Tomorrow brings another possibility for dangerous road conditions. Along with dangerous roads, we must also consider our parking lots and sidewalks. With limited man-power, it is challenging to clear everything prior to students and teachers arriving for the day. This will likely be a late decision, so please check this app often. We need to look at next Tuesday as well, so please ensure you have plans for the possibility of an extended event. We hope none of this becomes necessary, but we want you to be aware.
