The White-Out Assembly was bright, loud, and full of Rocket spirit! Our students brought the energy, and Rocket was right in the middle of it all! 🙌
The game and screaming match were top-level, but the band and choir truly showed us what being a Rocket is all about—working hard, giving our best, and showing up with excellence in every atmosphere. 🎶🥁

This month, we shine a light on sickle cell disease (SCD) and the individuals and families living with it every day.
Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood disorder that can cause severe pain, anemia, infections, and other serious health complications. Awareness and understanding can help build support, encourage early care, and remind those living with SCD that they are not alone.
Let’s use this month to learn, listen, support, and spread awareness about sickle cell disease. ❤️

🏙️ Welcome to Noun Town! 🏙️
Mrs. Clements’ class has been learning all about nouns, and they put their knowledge into action by creating their very own class “Noun Town”! 📚✨
Students created their own people, places, and things to add to our town. We had everything from Oakdale to Mrs. Clements—inside Oakdale! 😂 We even had the Devon Tower, spaceships, bikes, and so much more!
This interactive activity brought nouns to life and helped make the concept stick! What a fun way to learn! 🚀📚

Mrs. Branscum’s Very Curious Book Tasting Tea Party is officially one of 4th grade's favorite Oakdale traditions! This second annual event gave students the chance to “sample” books like tea and discover new stories and genres to add to their TBR lists. 📖
The BEST part? Hearing students say they were surprised by a genre they didn’t think they’d like—and then immediately asking to borrow the book! ❤️
A huge thank-you to Mrs. Branscum’s incredible team, our phenomenal families who provided the delicious food and support, and the OSF for the grant that made this magical experience possible.
What a wonderful way to grow readers and a love of books! 🫖📚✨ We’re already curious about where the rabbit hole leads next! 🐇
A Meaningful Start to Our Board Meeting

We are grateful for the time, respect, and commitment these Scouts demonstrated in honoring our school, our community, and our country. We appreciate their service and are proud to have them represent Troop 121.
