🌟📚 Big Day in 5th Grade! 🚀✨
We kicked things off with a fun “Tea Party” as students brought history to life through a reader’s theater on the Boston Tea Party 🍵🇺🇸
Then, things went out of this world when the Lunar Sooners brought their Soonerarium (mobile planetarium) to campus! 🌌🪐 Students explored planets, moon phases, and constellations, and even got to ask astrophysicists some incredible questions—everything from black holes to colliding galaxies and wormholes! 🤯✨ Our 5th graders were curious, engaged, and asked some seriously impressive questions! 👏
We wrapped up the day in STEM by presenting Makey Makey projects, and WOW—they did not disappoint! ⚡🎶 These creations were truly out of this world! 🚀💡

Changes beginning MONDAY, MARCH 9th:
Front Office Relocation---The entire current front office, including the front conference room, will officially be closed.
The “new” front office and Nurse Cain’s office will open in the current 5th-grade office starting Monday, March 9th.
Morning Crosswalk
Parking Lot Changes--The front row of the large parking lot by the intermediate and middle school will remain reserved for visitor parking at the new front office location.
Students will follow the same route initially, but instead of entering through the front doors, they will walk straight along the walkway to the gym entrance doors.
Afternoon Crosswalk
Students will now meet in the current 4th grade pod (future 3rd grade pod) after dismissal.
Nurse Cain and Mrs. Scott will escort students through the side door to the pod and walk them to the crosswalk, utlizing the concrete walkway along the side of the school.

"Donuts with Dudes" on your calendar for this Friday, March 6th! PTC will be serving donuts from 7:45 - 8:10 am in the Oakdale cafeteria. All dads, grandpas, uncles, or any other special "dudes" are invited to join your students. Milk and juice will also be provided, along with coffee generously donated and served by Oakdale Baptist Church.
