Oakdale Cub Scouts, Sam DeBoard & Wyatt Hietpas are pictured working a community service project this morning by installing a new bike rack and a "little free library" at the front of our school. Both boys talked of how they will remember helping to install these every time they drive up to the school. Thank you, Sam & Wyatt! Teamwork makes the dream work and we are proud you are both Rockets!

Get excited for STEAM Night on Thursday, March 28th, from 5 to 7 pm! This awesome night of hands-on exploratory activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math is for all families, pre-k through 8th grade. In addition to STEAM night, we welcome all 2nd-5th graders to enter a LEGO showcase entry by March 25th. FOOD DRIVE BEGINS WEDNESDAY! We will have a school-wide food drive benefitting the Oakdale Rocket Pantry beginning on Wednesday, February 7th, and concluding on February 16th. Grade levels will be grouped to compete for a donut party contest (PreK-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th). Items that will count as double points instead of just one point are the food items that are most in need: canned vegetables, single-serving cereal boxes, raisins, and non-perishable single-serve milk packs (chocolate or white milk).
