Oklahoma Christian University Counseling

The Oklahoma Christian University Family Therapy Clinic offers counseling services to children, families, couples and adults in the Edmond/OKC metro area. As part of Oklahoma Christian University's Marriage and Family Therapy master's degree program, the providers are master's level therapy interns in training, providing personalized and effective services under the direct supervision of highly experienced faculty supervisors. All services are offered on a sliding scale based on family income. Providers at the clinic have specific training in working with family relational problems, mood and behavioral concerns in children and adolescents, and resolving trauma related symptoms. There is a box for Oakdale schools on the appointment request form that is on the website. This will serve as a method for them to know you are an Oakdale family.

As of now, there is not a wait list so cases are being assigned within a few days of being recieved. If there is a wait list in the future, the confirmation box( after people submit an appointment request) will have information for how to contact them for a triage appointment if needed so that family can get some resources and support to provide stabilization between starting routinely with a provider.

They allow walk-ins 24 hr/day, 7 days/wk!

NORTHCARE mental health will provide professionally competent and responsive practices, which may include, but are not limited to: Serving as the centralized access point for individuals and families seeking crisis services and support; and additional outpatient behavioral health services.
